HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Who even gets scared during Halloween anymore? These days even a serial killer themed haunted house or a 3-D Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie can barely wrangle a squirm out of the least jaded of us.
And yet there remain a select collection of artworks which leave us grabbing for the nearest nightlight by using only paint or camera and a sick imagination. Whether depicting a Greek god gnawing on his offspring or two eerie twins dressed in matching garb, there is something lingering in the following images that we just can't stomach. In honor of Halloween, we present the 10 terrifying artworks.
Let us know if they give you the chills or if we're totally off. Regardless, Happy Halloween, everyone!

follow that sign
Driving
through California this time of year, as I’m sure in many other places throughout
the USA, you always see really cool handmade advertisements for Pumpkin Patches
from local farmers and the like. We at October Boys look forward to seeing what
cool signs these pumpkin sellers come up with every year. Here are just a few
from this year.
Mr. Bones always brings it!
hmmm we sense a Miss Pacman feel here...
This will get them!

deck the halls
As if we needed any more
Halloween festooning, I created this banner for our home. I have been
collecting Halloween fabric for quite some time now waiting until I had enough
to complete this project. I made a simple triangular pattern from some old
floral paper and cut out enough shapes so I could spell out "Happy Halloween",
then I ironed on the lettering.
I was lucky enough to find the iron on transfer letters in the Halloween bin at the thrift store! I then spooled up some orange thread on my machine and went to work sewing it all on the ribbon. Voila! A simple and fast project that came together well and looks great wherever you hang it.

Tag your it!
I drew this on the back of a door the day I left my old apartment
building that was going to be torn down. It was the middle of October of last
year, and I was upset that I had to move in the middle of my favorite month.
Not a happy pumpkin.
